Vermont Public Transit and Mobility Services with Ross MacDonald
Ross MacDonald, Public Transit Program Manager at VTrans, will present public transportation options and resources, and provide an assessment of the opportunities and challenges facing the program. Details will include bus and train schedule info, an overview of the Go! Vermont Program, and a Q&A session for the group to share their experiences, expectations, and ideas on how to address transportation issues and improve the overall system.

Ross MacDonald

Ross is the Public Transit Program Manager for the Vermont Agency of Transportation. He started his career in State government after 12 years of working for international manufacturing companies. In 2004, he joined the NJ Department of Environmental Protection, contributing to land-use and Environmental Justice policies, and coordinating Transportation Orientated Design projects. Ross and his family moved to Vermont in 2007 where he joined the Public Transit Program and created the successful Go! Vermont program, becoming the Program Manager in 2019. Ross was also named the 2018 “Rural Transit Champion” by the Transportation Research Board.
