Working as a structural engineer at Verdant Structural Engineers, Rachel’s work focuses on utilizing low-carbon building materials, close collaboration with architects, and earthquake resiliency. Her love of design and curiosity about the built environment led her to both structural engineering and natural building. As an intern at Yestermorrow in 2012, she fell in love with timber framing and has relished returning to Yestermorrow to teach workshops.
